I'm TarekB — a cinematographer and director working almost exclusively in endurance sport: running, trail, ultra-distance and triathlon. I came to it as a runner first, which is the whole point. I know what mile 82 looks like on a face, and I know where to stand to catch it.

My work lives in the grind — the 4am shakeout, the aid-station math, the long silent kilometres a highlight reel would throw away. I direct for pacing above all else: a film about endurance should breathe like the effort it's documenting. Build. Suffer. Break. Hold.

I shoot solo and light for athlete access, or scale up to a full crew for brand campaigns — and I shoot stills on the same days, so a campaign leaves with both the film and the frames. Everything is delivered finished: graded, sound-designed, and cut to every aspect ratio your channels need.
